Polyester film (PET) is a film material made of polyethylene Aluminum mylar terephthalate as a raw material, made into thick sheets by extrusion, and then biaxially stretched. Polyester film, environmental protection film, PET film, milky white film and other printing and packaging consumables, widely used in the glass fiber reinforced plastic industry, building materials industry, printing industry, medicine and health. Polyester film is also called polyester film, light film, polyester film, photosensitive paper, polyester film, styrene film, cellophane release film. Polyester film is a polymer plastic film, which is more and more favored by consumers because of its excellent comprehensive performance.

As my country's production volume and technological level still cannot meet the market demand, some of it still needs to rely on imports. Usually colorless, transparent, glossy film (additive particles can now be added to make it have color), excellent mechanical properties, high rigidity, hardness and toughness, puncture resistance, friction resistance, high and low temperature resistance, chemical resistance, It has good oil resistance, air tightness and fragrance retention. It is one of the commonly used barrier composite film substrates, but it has poor corona resistance. The price of polyester film is relatively high, and the thickness is generally 0.012mm. It is commonly used as the outer layer of retort packaging and has good printability. Moreover, due to the complexity and difficulty of polyester film, it brings many difficulties to customs supervision.

Biaxially oriented polyester film (BOPET for short) is made of bright material (also called big bright material, that is, the content of titanium dioxide in the raw material polyester chip is 0.1%, after drying, melting, extrusion, casting and vertical and horizontal stretching Stretching high-grade film, widely used). BOPET film has the characteristics of high strength, good rigidity, transparency and high gloss; it is odorless, tasteless, colorless, non-toxic, and outstanding toughness; its tensile strength is 3 times that of PC film and nylon film, and its impact strength is BOPP 3-5 times that of the film, it has excellent abrasion resistance, folding resistance, pinhole resistance and tear resistance heat shrinkability is very small, at 120 ℃, only 1.25% shrinkage after 15 minutes.

Good antistatic properties, easy to vacuum aluminum plating, can be coated with PVDC, thereby improving its heat-sealability, barrier properties and printing adhesion; BOPET also has good heat resistance, excellent cooking resistance, low temperature freezing resistance Performance, good oil resistance and chemical resistance. Except for nitrobenzene, chloroform, and benzyl alcohol, BOPET film cannot be dissolved by most chemicals. However, BOPET will be corroded by strong alkali, so care should be taken when using it. BOPET film has low water absorption and good water resistance, suitable for packaging foods with high water content. Uniaxially stretched polyester film (abbreviated as CPET) is a film made of semi-dull material (titanium dioxide is added to the raw material polyester chips), which is dried, melted, extruded, casted and stretched longitudinally. In the polyester film With the lowest grade and lowest price, it is mainly used for pharmaceutical tablet packaging. Due to the small amount of use, few manufacturers produce on a large scale, accounting for about 5% of the polyester film field, and Chinese companies also rarely import, with a standard thickness of 150μm.
